1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Supplepedia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on Supplepedia for personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not include modifying, copying for distribution, or using the materials for commercial purposes.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Supplepedia offers subscription plans that provide access to premium features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Disclaimer

The information provided on Supplepedia is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting any supplement regimen.

AI assistant. Parts of the Service include an AI assistant. Its responses are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not medical advice. What you type is sent to our AI provider to generate a response, so please do not enter anything you would not want processed by a third party. The assistant is not available to practitioner accounts, or to patients following a protocol shared by a provider, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.

5. Affiliate Links Disclosure

Some content on Supplepedia may contain affiliate links. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you.

6. Limitations of Liability

Supplepedia shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Practitioner Accounts

The following applies in addition to the rest of this agreement when you create or operate a practitioner account. Practitioner relationships operate at one of two tiers, and which one applies determines how health information is handled.

Tier 2, clinical engagement. This is the default for standard patient invites. You may record clinical notes, patient context, secure messages, clinical alerts, and validated assessment results in the Service. That content is Protected Health Information under HIPAA. In this relationship you are the Covered Entity and Supplepedia acts as your Business Associate. A Business Associate Agreement must be executed and on file for your practice before Tier 2 invites can be sent or accepted, and the Service will refuse those actions until it is.

Tier 1, protocol sharing only. You may downscale a relationship to protocol import and adherence sharing. Clinical notes, secure messages, and the other Tier 2 features are unavailable, and that content is not stored. Supplepedia provides Business Associate services only under an executed BAA, so it does not act as your Business Associate for a Tier 1 relationship. That limit is about what we have agreed to do, not a determination that Tier 1 information falls outside HIPAA. Whether information you receive is Protected Health Information depends on your own relationship with the patient, and reviewing a patient's adherence as part of their care can qualify even though no clinical note is stored. If your use of the Service involves PHI, use a Tier 2 relationship with a BAA on file rather than Tier 1.

In either tier you will obtain any consents required by applicable law, keep what you enter to what is reasonably necessary for the care you are providing, and remain solely responsible for the clinical appropriateness of any protocol you create or share. The Service is built for supplement adherence and protocol sharing and is not a full electronic health record, so it should not be used as your system of record for comprehensive medical records.

8. Analytics and Advertising

We use third-party analytics and advertising services, including Sentry for crash reporting and (on the website, after cookie consent) Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel for marketing measurement. By using the Service, you acknowledge that these providers may collect usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. The iOS app does not track users across other companies' apps and websites, and it does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
